The Largest and ...
Most Impressive Snowshoe In America!
In our beautiful little town of Montgomery Center, Vermont…attached to the one of the areas favorite covered “3-season” patio, hangs the largest snowshoe in America. Officially…it’s not in the Guinness World Records (which lists a Canadian one), but the massive, 13-foot wooden snowshoe hanging at the Snowshoe Lodge and Pub definitely gives us bragging rights the USA. Besides, the “Guinness” we have is more popular.
More About The Lodge & PubAdding to our local claim to fame, the snowshoe that made Bigfoot blush was built from locally milled ash for fun and décor. Construction was completed by a large crew of locals and led by John Little (not the Robin Hood guy). For more information, check out the local news cast link.
