The Shoe is owned and operated by a couple of local firefighters, John Zartarian and Pete Fix. After moving to Vermont, they quickly became involved with local community, from construction to cooks, bartenders to wait staff, each made a niche for themselves in the local bar and restaurant environment. Their love for the community brought them together in the local fire department, creating the team for The Shoe.

The Snow Shoe Lodge & Pub is dedicated to the local community, as well as the many “Out of town” visitors that walk through our doors. Our goal for quality service, food, spirits and entertainment for all of our customers will never be unbroken.
