Located in Montgomery Center, at the corner Main Street and Rte. 242  (locally known as the Mountain Road) across from the Montgomery Arts Center and the local grocery store.

The Shoe is owned and operated by local firefighter, John Zartarian. After moving to Vermont and  quickly became involved with local community, from firefighter to construction to cooking and bartending, John made a niche for himself in the local bar and restaurant environment. The love for the community combined with the comradery of the local fire department, created the team for The Shoe.

The Snow Shoe Lodge & Pub is dedicated to the local community, as well as the many “Out of town” visitors that walk through our doors. Our goal for quality service, food, spirits and entertainment for all of our customers will never be unbroken.
